- i find it pretty fucking inconsiderate that my grandchildren haven’t used time travel to visit me.
- and frankly, i’m a bit offended.
- AM I NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU GRANDCHILDREN?
- WELL FUCK YOU
- MAYBE I WON’T EVEN HAVE KIDS AND YOU WON’T EXIST
- HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THAT
what if we have tho
what if we just didn’t know they were our grandkids
what if your best friend has to constantly remind themselves not to call you grandma/grandpa
Wait—just wait a second.
Crowley is holding an angel blade, a blade that he didn’t have two seconds before this shot. I just noticed this while rewatching the episode.
Why does Crowley have an angel blade? If it was Samandriel’s, it wouldn’t have been summoned to his call—also Crowley’s earlier comment to Samandriel, “This hurts you a lot more than it hurts me.” Which leads me to believe that the blade must be Crowley’s, because even under duress, you can’t force an angel to draw their blade, as it’s a manifestation of their Grace.
Crowley. You’ve got red smoke (unheard of for a demon, even King of Hell; Azazel’s smoke was black, as we recall, as was Lilith’s and Alastair’s, who were arguably also the head-honcho demons in the past), strange powers (making the demon-killing knife burn Dean when he attempted to kill Crowley in Mama Tran’s body, and being able to project his voice while inhabiting the decidedly female vocal chords of said Mama Tran), beef with God (“Clearly this should not be in the hands of humans; what was God thinking?”), knowledge of all the angels (Castiel, Samandriel, and even the archangel Metatron; “The Scribe… and suck-up. Took down God’s word, picked up his cleaning”), and now an angel’s blade?
Also, if Crowley were a typical demon, would he not have just saved himself by destroying the tablet and hiding the pieces? What is he so interested in that could be on the tablet, and why is he so protective of it and of Kevin, the Prophet? And speaking of prophets, how would Crowley have known if Samandriel was withholding names under interrogation; how would he have known of the next generation? How else would he have known that there were others in line after Kevin? Is it possible that he knew the prophets existed, but the names had been lost to him?
Something you want to share with the class, King of Hell?
I’d also like to add at this point - Castiel is also wielding an angel blade…against a “demon”….
Now why would he need to use his blade for killing angels in a fight with a mere demon?!
